Curtin University, Perth, Australia collaborated with MIER College of Education to undertake educational activities under its New Colombo Plan project. The aim of this partnership was to establish a connection between students in India and Australia and provide them a highly progressive educational opportunity that aims at making them adaptable and confident in any teaching environment. The officials of both the colleges discussed about the planning and execution of the Colombo Plan effectively. Dr.
Rekha Koul gave guidelines for conducting this programme such as identification of teacher trainees and preparing schedules for organising various activities. Discussion was also held on the preparation related to technology platform to be adopted and procurement of tabs for the students who were going to participate in this programme.
