An interactive session was held between the students of both the countries. The aim was to bring students together to grow and innovate as the educators of tomorrow. By providing an authentic intercultural and educational program to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific region, Curtin University and MIER College students developed their own teaching prowess in an agile environment while considering how 21st century education imperatives inform contemporary teaching practices.
Building an initial relationship with their fellow students was integral to the success of the New Colombo Plan project, and so Dr. Sheffield and Dr. Gupta co-ordinated an engaging and constructive introductory experience for students prior to their educational program. Students commenced their collaborative process by crafting an introductory video providing a snapshot of their daily life and future goals and ambitions.
