To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Smt. Shanti Gupta Centre for Women Studies (SSGCWS) organized a program “Sharing of Experiences” in which Ms. Tanya Dev Gupta, a renowned singer and artist was the resource person. Dr. Renu Gupta, Chairperson MIER chaired the session. Dr Adit Gupta, Principal and Director MIER, Mrs Rupa Gupta, Joint Director and Director CWS, Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, Joint Director MIET, HoDs and Deputy HoDs of various departments of the college along with the students and faculty attended the session.

Mrs. Rupa Gupta formally introduced the resource person to the audience and said Ms. Tanya is a Jammu-based singer who has made a mark in Bollywood. She was selected to perform in the Asian Games in Guangzhou. Ms. Tanya has sung songs in many languages and has shared the stage with well-known artists both at the national and international level. She was a guest faculty at Film & Music Academy and performed at many mega-events
