‘Meet the Eminent Women Personality’

Smt. Shanti Gupta Centre for Women Studies (SSGCWS), MIER organized a program under the series ‘Meet the Eminent Women Personality’ on 17th July’21. Dr. Chand Trehan, Registered Counsellor, RCI -Rehabilitation Council of India, was the resource person. Dr Renu Gupta, Chairperson MIER chaired the session. Dr Adit Gupta, Principal and Director MIER, Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director and Director CWS, HODs and Deputy HODs of PG and UG departments of the college along with the faculty and students attended the event.

Rupa Gupta formally welcomed and introduced the resource person to the audience. Dr. Chand Trehan is a Freelance Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the field of counselling. She delivers parental sessions and teachers’ workshops at the national level, in addition to conducting trainings on numerous topics. She primarily focuses on the welfare of children, adolescents, and destitute women while providing counselling. She is the founder of "Care North," a psychological counselling and training centre in Jammu and Chandigarh, as well as a member of the CBSE's Resource Person panel and Tele Helpline Counselor.
