Two-Day Online Workshop on “Mapping and Measurement of Programme and Course Outcomes”

The College organised a two-day online workshop on 23rd and 24th March 2023 for the faculty on Outcome Based Education with specific focus on “Mapping and Measurement of Programme and Course Outcomes”. Mr Ajay Bhagwat, Director, Inpods India Private Ltd. was the resource person for the workshop.
During the workshop, Mr Bhagwat spoke on the concepts of Quality Assurance and Programme Design. He highlighted the importance of establishing the understanding of QA related to the programme designing process.

He reiterated that in the process of “teaching knowledge” to the students, the content being delivered is to be linked with the POs. The topic provided conceptual knowledge about beginning the journey to top-down design a program from scratch or revise the existing one to make those programmes OBE focused.
The workshop also focused on “Questions Design to Measure Cos and CO-PO Attainment Computation and Outcomes Analysis”. Mr Bhagwat shared a Course Blueprint model for designing outcomes-focused questions and assessments so that a misalignment between outcomes-instructions-assessments can be avoided. The concepts were cleared through reflective questions and brainstorming of ideas.
The workshop concluded with a question and answer session where the faculty cleared their doubts related to the topic.
