An orientation session on the topic “Introduction to Consultancy in the Educational Space” was oraginsed on 28th March 2023 in collaboration with Carpediem, Mumbai. Dr Anirban Sengupta, Professor & Dean, School of Management Studies, Mody University was the resource person for the orientation.
Dr Sengupta spoke at length about how consultancy benefits the educators and the teaching fraternity in general and its impact on the client.

He reflected upon building the right mind-set for consultancy in educators and how the institution and the faculty can adopt a problem-solving & critical thinking approach in order to create such a mind-set. He delineated the steps that are required to form a basic structure of offering consultancy to other institutions which included building an institutional brand along with the brand of the faculty to increase market visibility.
The session concluded with an interactive session in which the faculty shared their experiences related to consultancy and cleared their doubts related to the topic.
