An online guest lecture was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, MIER College of Education, on the theme "Financial Management" in collaboration with Board of Industry Academia Partnership. The lecture was attended by the faculty and the students of both the UG and PG Departments. Dr. Arti Modi, certified BSE Financial Modelling Trainer, was the resource person of the lecture. The aim of the lecture was to enable the students to understand basic money management concepts like savings, investment, and managing risk. Dr.

Modi explained the dos and don’ts regarding participation in financial markets and highlighted the vulnerabilities to fraudulent and Ponzi schemes.

She emphasized the importance of informed financial and retirement planning and the opportunities available. She highlighted the rights and duties of the investors. The lecture was followed by an active interaction session where the students clarified their doubts and queries.
