Tree Plantation Campaign Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

A tree plantation campaign, EK Ped Maa Ke Naam, under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), was organized by the Environment Unit of MIER College of Education family to plant trees as a tribute to mothers. By participating in this campaign, the students not only contributed to environmental conservation but also honored their mothers in a special way.
More than 31 students from the Environment Unit of MIER College participated in the activity by planting saplings of different plants at the Modal Higher Secondary School in Domana village.

The surpanch, the principal along with the staff and students of the high school, participated in the program. This initiative reflects the commitment of the college to environmental conservation and community The event was a significant step towards fostering a deeper connection between the students and nature, while also promoting the values of respect and responsibility.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal and Director MIER College of Education, appreciated the efforts of the unit and the participation of the students in this campaign. He said that we believe that nurturing a strong sense of environmental responsibility among the youth is crucial for safeguarding the environment for future generations. Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan as the custodians of tomorrow, the students of MIER College eagerly participated in creating a greener and more sustainable community. The activity was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Suman Gupta, Incharge Environment Unit.
