Visit to Purkhoo Village Gram Sabha

MIER College of Education organized a Gram Sabha meeting under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on August 15, 2024, at the adopted village, Purkhoo (Kote), in the Jammu District. The gathering was attended by the Sarpanch and local residents, who came together to discuss the village's development needs. The meeting, led by Mrs. Suman Devi, Assistant Professor and UBA coordinator at MIER College, aimed to identify and address the village's fundamental requirements.

Mrs Suman Devi engaged in meaningful discussions with the villagers, focusing on key issues such as school infrastructure, employment opportunities, healthcare, sanitation, and education. The meeting served as a platform for understanding the community's challenges and planning for the village's future development. These discussions are vital for the overall progress and well-being of the community.
