Sensitization Program on Digital Transactions

A sensitization programme was organized by Extension Unit of MIER College of Education in its adopted village-Domana. The resource person was Mr. Pranav Gandotra, Manager HR, Training and Quality Assurance MIER. The theme of the programme was ‘How to use mobile apps for digital transaction of finances.’ A group of 22 students of Extension unit participated in the activity under the supervision of Mrs. Suman Devi Incharge of the unit. Mr.

Gandotra explained various modes of digital transactions and the use of different mobile apps like PAYTM, PNB, UPI, E-Wallet, E-banking etc. After orientation student members also gave hands-on practice to the residents. The villagers along with panch and sarpanch actively participated in the programme and said it was very beneficial for them. Mrs. Suman Devi, Incharge Extension Unit, thanked the resource person and everyone present on the occasion. Dr. Adit Gupta Principal, MIER College appreciated the efforts of the unit for spreading awareness among the villagers regarding digital transaction.
