E- Waste Management and Disposal

The Environment Unit of MIER College of Education, Jammu organized an activity related to E- waste management and disposal on Thursday 9th December, 2021 at 11a.m at CET room of the College. Principal, Joint Director, HoD PG and HoD UG and 2 representatives of Environment Unit of MIER College of Education were participated enthusiastically in the activity. Mr. Suraj Kapoor from an external agency Karo- Sambhav private limited Near CRPF Gangyal, Jammu was invited for E-waste management and disposal.

The electronic products that were not working, and nearing or at the end of their “useful life.” Computers, CPU, keyboard and printer machine were disposed off. The main objective of E- waste management and disposal is to Recycling e-waste that can help to keep away harmful materials from the environment.
