Cultural Practices for Sustainable Environment'

The Co-curricular Committee and Environment Unit of MIER College of Education in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations organized a symposium and cultural event on the theme 'Cultural Practices for Sustainable Environment'. Mrs. Parul Khajuria (KAS), Cultural Officer, Department of Information, and Public Relations was the Chief Guest of the event. Around 10 students participated in the symposium. Based on the results given by the jury, Ms. Aditi Mahajan and Ms.

Nandika Srivastava of BA Honours Psychology, Semester I clinched the first position and second position respectively whereas Ms. Naman Mansotra, BA Honours Psychology, Semester III secured the third position. All the participants were awarded with the certificates of merit and trophies. In addition to the symposium a lively cultural programme was presented by artists of cultural unit Jammu and students of the college which was very much appreciated by the audience.
