Plantation drive

Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan and the Environment Unit conducted a plantation drive by planting around 20 fruits bearing, and medicinal plants in the institution. Mr. Sandeep Jain, State President of the Sanghatan, Ms. Monika Jain, General Secretary, members of the Jain Sanghatan, officials from J&K Forest Department, student members of the Environment Unit, and faculty of the College were part of the plantation drive. To commemorate the day, Jammu Municipal Corporation also collaborated with the College to organize a cleanliness campaign.

More than 100 students from the UG and PG departments participated in this drive. Students also donated old clothes, books, plastic debris, and e-waste. The event was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Suman Gupta, Convener of the Environment Unit.
