Intercollegiate Women's Badminton Championship

The College clinched the coveted overall trophy at the Intercollegiate Women's Badminton Championship organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, University of Jammu. The event witnessed fierce competition, with more than 41 teams from various universities and colleges participating, and MIER College emerged triumphant.
Guided by Mr. C.R. Jangra, Sports Incharge, MIER College of Education, and coached by Mr. Imran Ahmed from Model Academy, the stellar performance of talented students brought home the championship.

The exceptional players who showcased their prowess on the badminton court include Ms. Naman Mansotra (BA Honours Psychology Semester V), Ms. Khushi Jhanavi (BA
Honours Political Science Semester III), and Maanya Bakshi (BA Honours Psychology Semester I).
Prof. Adit Gupta, the Director and Principal of MIER College, lauded the students for their outstanding achievements and encouraged them to continue their active participation in state and national-level competitions in the future. The dedicated efforts of Mr. C.R. Jangra, Incharge Sports Unit, were also acknowledged and appreciated by Prof. Gupta. This victory not only adds another feather to MIER College's cap but also underscores the commitment to excellence and sportsmanship fostered within
the institution.
