World Health Day

To commemorate World Health Day, the extension unit of the College organized a free medical camp and a sensitization session for its students and staff. During the general medical check-up, 60 persons were diagnosed with the problems of hyper and hypotension and blood pressure. Free medicines were also distributed to the needy. The sensitization session on the theme “Common Health Issues” was conducted by T.

C Bhagat, Medical Officer MIER who comprehensively explained the causes and preventions of common ailments and also discussed the first-aid measures for heatstroke, animals bite, electric shock and burns. The students and staff appreciated the efforts of unit for organising this programme.
