Skit on the Disability Issues

A team of 30 Students from extension unit of MIER College of Education visited Bhatyari village near Bishnah, Jammu to create awareness regarding “Disability Issues”. The Students of B.Ed. Spl. Education semester IV presented an impressive skit highlighting the issues related to disability and focusing on the potentialities and capabilities of children with special needs. The skit also showed that if an opportunity is given, the children with special needs can become useful members of society and contribute towards its development.

The villagers were also given information regarding the free educational facilities available for children with special needs (CWSN) up to the age of 18 years. The presentation was highly appreciated by the audience.
