International Day for Older Person

Students of the college visited Old Age Home to commemorate the International Day for Older Person at Ambphalla. The students organized cultural activities comprising songs and dance items for them. The programme invoked active response from the older persons and they also sang folk songs with zeal and enthusiasm. The students also demonstrated some yoga techniques suitable for them. The participants enjoyed the programme and requested the teacher incharge to organize such programmes in future also. Mrs.

Suman Devi, incharge, Extension unit formally thanked the participant and the elderly people for their cooperation and support. Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal, MIER appreciated the efforts of the unit for conducting the programme for the elderly people.
