Seven-days NSS Special Camp

A seven-day annual camp of NSS volunteers of MIER College on the theme “Youth for Community Service” was held in its campus. Fifty volunteers from the different departments of the college participated in the camp. The volunteers were made aware about the objectives of NSS and the purpose behind organizing the camp. Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal exhorted the volunteers to develop a passion for community service and acquire necessary training to shape the future of the youth of the country. Mehreen Khan formally welcomed the audience. Volunteers presented an impressive programme which included a group dance on the theme “Women Empowerment” followed by a skit on ‘Drug Abuse.’ A detailed report of seven-day NSS camp was presented by NSS program officer, Mrs. Komal Sharma. The function culminated with a breathtaking performance of the volunteers on a dogri song. The programme was ably conducted by Ms. Esha Balgotra and Ms. Mahima Gupta presented a formal Vote of Thanks.
