MIER College of Education (Autonomous), hosted a prestigious Diploma Distribution Function for its Guidance and Counselling programme graduates. The event, celebrating the accomplishments of students from the 2021-22 and 2022-23 batches, took place at the MIER College campus, marking a significant milestone in the academic calendar. The event was attended by the Heads and Faculty of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Education. Over 75 Students participated in the event.
The ceremony commenced with a warm and inspiring welcome address by Dr. Adit Gupta, Director and principal of MIER College of Education. Dr. Gupta emphasised the importance of guidance and counselling in today's educational landscape and congratulated the graduates on their achievements.
A notable feature of the event was the platform given to diploma holders to share their experiences. These testimonials provided valuable insights into the programme's impact, highlighting the practical skills and theoretical knowledge gained during their studies. The shared experiences also served as motivation for current and prospective students in attendance.

Dr Renu Gupta, the distinguished Chairperson of the MIER Group of Institutions, honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Gupta offered a blend of practical wisdom and inspirational guidance in her address. She emphasised the critical role of counsellors in shaping young minds and supporting educational institutions. Her words of encouragement and blessings resonated with the graduates as they prepared to embark on their professional journeys.
The event was meticulously organised, and Dr. Bindu Dua, the former programme coordinator, efficiently conducted the ceremonies. Her expertise ensured a smooth flow of the event, adding to its professionalism and impact.
Dr. Taniya Raina, the current Coordinator of the Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. She acknowledged the collective efforts of the faculty, staff, and students that contributed to the success of both the programme and the celebration.
