The Literary Club of MIER College of Education organized an enriching visit to the book fair held at Kala Kendra, Jammu, on November 16, 2024. The event aimed to immerse students in the vibrant world of literature and encourage them to explore a diverse range of books.
Led by Dr. Suneel Bhat and Mr. Sudarshan, faculty members from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, the visit included enthusiastic students from both the School of Education and the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. The group embarked on their literary journey with great excitement, eager to discover the treasures awaiting them at the fair.
Upon arrival, students were welcomed by a bustling atmosphere filled with the enticing scent of freshly printed pages and the vibrant energy of fellow readers. Stalls adorned with books of of various genres and themes stretched across the venue, providing a visual and intellectual feast for attendees.
The fair offered an extensive collection of titles, from classic literature to contemporary bestsellers, catering to diverse interests and preferences. As students browsed the stalls, their minds brimmed with inspiration and their bags with newfound literary gems. The event concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
