The MIER College of Education successfully organized an insightful workshop on the Rorschach Inkblot Test for students of the Master’s program in Clinical and Counselling Psychology. The session, held on Saturday, February 1, was facilitated by Dr. Sarita Sood, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Jammu. Dr. Monika Bajaj, Head, School of Social Sciences & Humanities along with the faculty members and students attended the workshop.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Ayushi Grover, Assistant Professor, MIER College of Education, who set the stage for an engaging and intellectually stimulating session and also introduced the resource person to the audience
Dr. Sarita Sood provided an in-depth understanding of the Rorschach Inkblot Test, a widely used projective psychological assessment tool. She meticulously guided the participants through the theoretical foundations, administration, interpretation, and applications of the test in clinical and counseling settings. The workshop offered students a valuable hands-on learning experience, enhancing their knowledge and practical expertise in psychological assessment techniques.
Prof. Adit Gupta, Principal, MIER College of Education, appreciated the efforts of the Department of Psychology in organizing such a highly beneficial workshop. He emphasized the significance of psychological assessments in understanding human behavior and their crucial role in clinical and counseling settings. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Taniya Raina, Assistant Professor, MIER College of Education, who expressed gratitude to Dr. Sood for her valuable insights and to all attendees for their enthusiastic participation.
