SHOT PUT Competition

    The Sports Unit of MIER College of Education successfully organized a shot-put competition for both boys and girls. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of the School of Education (SOE) and the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSSH), demonstrating their commitment to sports and physical fitness. The meet was inaugurated by Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal, MIER College of Education, who encouraged students to take part in such events in great numbers, emphasizing the importance of sports in overall personality development and well-being.
    Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Jt. Director MIER, Dr. Pramod Srivastava, Principal Model Academy, Dr. Nistha Rana, Head SOE, Dr. Monika Bajaj, Head SSSH and Dr. Bharti Tandon Deputy Head SoE along with faculty members and students, cheered and motivated the participants.
    The competition witnessed remarkable performances, with Mr. Prataksh (SSSH) securing the first position, Mr. Rudra (SSSH) second, and Mr. Abhishek (SOE) third in the boys' category, while in the girls' category, Ms. Prakarti (SOE) claimed the first position, followed by Ms. Aarti (SOE) in second and Ms. Manvi (SOE) in third. The event was efficiently organized by Mr. C.R. Jangra, Incharge, Games and Sports Unit, under the active guidance and supervision of Mr. Imran, PTI, MIER.
    The sports meet turned out to be a vibrant and spirited occasion, fostering a sense of sportsmanship and camaraderie among students and faculty, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to holistic education through sports and extracurricular activities.
